Statement of Purpose

Cancer Foundation of Georgia, Inc. (CFG) is organized for the charitable, scientific, and educational purposes, and exists to promote and enhance the access to compassionate, high quality preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic and palliative services for cancer patients within the state of Georgia.

To fulfill its purpose, CFG will:

• Provide financial support and educational activities, including, but not limited to, live and multimedia educational activities, workshops, webinars, online enduring materials and/or tuition assistance grants to clinical professionals, cancer patient navigators, administrative and support staff, cancer survivorship organizations and other members of the cancer care-giving community;
• Foster and promote collegial working relationships with other multi-disciplinary teams of administrative and clinical health care professionals and educators in support of comprehensive cancer control efforts in Georgia; and
• Carry on any and all other charitable and educational purposes and activities.
